Suzanne Villalón-Hinojosa is an attorney who has been representing claimants on their claims for Social Security Disability Benefits since 1996.
Suzanne has been certified in Social Security Disability Advocacy by the National Board of Legal Specialty Certification since April 2008.
She is a native of Weslaco Texas and a graduate of Princeton University in 1982. She received her law degree from the University of Texas at Austin as well as a Masters in Public Affairs from the LBJ School of Public Affairs; also at UT Austin.
Suzanne is a sustaining member of the National Organization of Social Security Claimants Representatives,(NOSSCR). She also belongs to and participates in the Federal Bar Association, Hispanic National Bar Association, Mexican American Bar Association, the San Antonio Bar Association and the Hidalgo County Bar Association.
In addition to representing claimants in thousands of disability hearings, Suzanne has also filed many federal court briefs on behalf of disability claimants in U.S. District Courts in the Western (2001), Southern (2003), Northern (2004) and Eastern (2010) Districts of Texas.
In 2012 Suzanne expanded her federal court work into other states. She is admitted to the US District Courts of Colorado, Eastern District of Wisconsin and Western District of Michigan.
Suzanne is also a member of the Latino Diabetes Action Council with the American Diabetes Association.
